About Us

About Magic is a website which was primarily designed to help people better themselves as magicians. I first bought the domain name two years ago however due to my college work and job it's been hard to work for long periods of time on the website and i never wanted to deliver a half finished piece of work. Unfortunately, once the initial website was created it was hacked while i was on holiday and our flourishing forum was erased.

The forum was re-launched in the summer of 2006 but the website to accompany it wasn't completed until recently. Due to lack of content on the website the name seems to have lost it's once owned credibility from magicians previously familiar with the site. Thankfully, some members stayed and I can honestly say I think we have the friendliest magic forum on the internet.

Since the original release of the website and now there have been a lot of changes in our lives, joining magic clubs, going pro, creating effects and have partnerships with other magic organisations. This has made us much stronger as a website, for in my eyes we all run the website, it's a group effort and wouldn't be here without the hard work of others.

The articles and videos on the website are all member submitted, along with many of the contributions to the list of societies and as more people join the website these areas of the website will surely grow. My name's Steve, a magician from England, I own this site - but it's you who visits the site, it's you who motivates the site, and it's you who makes the site.
